DUNFORD -- MERCEDES M. Mrs. Mercedes M. Dunford, 80, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on October 25, 2007, and is now in Heaven with Our Lord. Mrs. Dunford is survived by her sister, Connie Chavez and Lowell Irvine; five brothers, Ralph Sedillo and wife, Ernestine, Joseph Sedillo and wife, Emma, Raymond Sedillo and wife, Priscilla, Ernest Sedillo and wife, Mary, Ramon Sedillo and wife, Cynthia; one niece, Bernice Chavez and husband, Cruz Mirabal; two aunts, Lupe Gonzales and Vicki Platteborze and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Dunford was preceded in death by her husband, Fred. Mercedes was a devoted member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday, October 29, 2007, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona SE, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Virgil.
