MORENO -- Candelaria "Candy" Moreno, 87, resident of Albuquerque, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, October 9, 2007 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her son, Alex Salazar and wife, Helen, of Albuquerque; daughter, Viola Gutierrez and husband, Bert, of Houston; sisters, Erma Padilla, Grace Montoya, and Susie Montoya; sister-in-law, Sylveria Molina; brother-in-law, Mike Sanchez; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alex Salazar; second husband, Johnny Moreno; son, Leroy Salazar; siblings, Abelicio Molina, Vita Garcia, and Agnes Sanchez. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. A Rosary will be recited Friday, October 12, 2007, 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 412 Stover Avenue SW. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 13, 2007, 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Father Clarence Maez officiating.
