HENING -- Camellia Hening, 65, a resident of Edmond, OK for the past 8 months, died peacefully on Saturday, August 25, 2007. She had been a life-long resident of Albuquerque but moved to Oklahoma to be near her family and to convalesce due to Chronic Obstruction Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Camellia was born on March 6, 1942, the daughter of Horace and Murel Hening of Albuquerque. She was an accomplished artist, painter, sculptor, seamstress and writer. She loved to read, spend time with her family and friends and loved and cared for her dog, Blanco. Camellia was the mother of three children, and the grandmother to ten grandchildren. Her father, Horace Hening; mother, Murel Hening; two brothers, Richard and Keith; her son, Steven Lienau; grandchild, Collin Chamberlain Lienau; and her loving companion, James Ahlskog, precedes Camellia in death. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Lienau of Edmond, OK; grandchildren, Sarah, Havilah, Seth and Benjamin Capshaw; her son, Christopher and his wife, Hope Lienau of Simpsonville, SC; grandchildren, Brandon, Matthew and Corbin Lienau; grandson, Christopher and his wife, Heather Lienau; granddaughter, Elizabeth Lienau of Corpus Christi, TX; and granddaughter, Jade Lienau Chavez of Camarillo, CA; cousin and friend, Jinny Tesik of Bothell, WA; and her beloved dog, Blanco. Camellia is loved and will be missed by all her family and friends. Memorial Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The American Lung Association.
