Born July 21, 1919, Yonkers, NY to immigrant Scottish parents, graduate of Russell Sage College and Case Western Reserve University, served in the American Red Cross 1943-46, teacher 1959-81. Survived by husband of 61 years, Virgil, of McHenry, IL; daughters, Marjorie (Thomas) Peterson of Albuquerque, Gwendolyn (William) Studnick of Geneva, IL; and son, Peter (Kathy) of Homestead, FL; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Peter Jr., Kelly, Eric, and James. Preceeded in death by son Donald in 2005. Services were held August 24, 2007 in Wauconda, IL Kisselberg Funeral Home, Wauconda, IL 60084
