LOW -- Dale Vincent Low, born June 3, 1925, in Fowler, KS to the union of John and Julia Low passed away Friday, August 17, 2007 in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Billie Arnold Low; children, Patricia Low McCarty and her husband, Jeff of Portales, NM and Michael Low of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Joshua McCarty, Shari McCarty, Kristin Low, and Matthew Low; brother, Irvin Low and his wife, Colletta of Fowler, KS; sister, Aileen Aldrich of Yucaipa, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Melvin Low. Dale had many loves in his life including fishing, the outdoors, and his dogs, but his greatest love in his life was his wife and family. He drove a truck for Navajo Freight starting in 1964, which became ABF Trucking, retiring from ABF in 1986. He had three million accident free miles during his career. Dale served in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1946 ranking as a gunners mate 3rd class, and receiving many honors. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. at 811 Guaymas Pl NE (corner of Lomas and Tennessee).
