SCHULMEISTER -- Jean Ellen Schulmeister, of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, July 27, 2007. Born in Bartlesville, OK, raised in Phillips, TX and graduated from NMSU where she met her husband, Bill. Jean Ellen worked at Manzano del Sol Good Samaritan Village for 20+ years. She taught Sunday School at First United Methodist Church for eleven years and was active in a local 4-H Club. Jean Ellen played the flute and piccolo at school in orchestra and the symphony. She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin. Jean Ellen is survived by her husband, Bill; daughter, Karen; mother, Ellen Checco; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. A Memorial Service will be held at Manzano del Sol Good Samaritan Village, 5201 Roma NE, near San Mateo and Lomas, on Monday, August 6, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW, ABQ. 505-343-8008
