MOY -- Timothy David Moy, 44, a resident of Albuquerque since 1993, died Sunday, July 22, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ullrich; son, Luke; parents, David and Betty Moy of Fredericksburg, VA; sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Randy Van Nostrand of Fredericksburg, VA; father-in-law, Ray Ullrich of Harrison, ID; a nephew and nieces; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and innumerable friends. Tim was an associate professor of history at the University of New Mexico, specializing in the history of science and highly regarded as a teacher; he also served as a consultant at Sandia National Laboratories. He was an active public intellectual, providing community talks on a variety of history of science-related topics and participating in public debate and edification regarding science education. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 3, 2007, 2:00 p.m., at Keller Hall in Popejoy, at UNM.
