ROMERO -- Lita Romero, 67, died Friday. She is survived by her only son, Michael Romero; grandchildren Mike, Amy, and Nicholas Romero; brother Leo Romero of Colorado Springs, CO; sisters Priscilla Scarcillo of Colorado Springs, Mary Ida Parks and husband KC of Murrietta, CA; step-sisters Mary Gonzales of Albuquerque; Aurora Chavez and husband, Processo of Santa Fe; and Erma Salazar and husband, Max of Washington. Lita was a nursing assistant at Lovelace Medical Center for 29 years. A Rosary will be held on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. in the Reflection of Life© Chapel (Cutler & Washington NE). Mass will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church with Burial following at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Steve Ulivarri, Pete Gonzales, William Medina, Larry Apodaca, Mike Romero and Nicholas Romero.
