MILLER -- J. CLELL Mr. J. Clell Miller was born on May 21, 1918 in the Homestead at Kim, CO. He was called to external rest on June 27, 2007. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and brothers, Alva, Butch, and J.D. He is survived by his brother, Cole Miller and his wife, Mary; Jay Miller and his wife, Luella, both from La Juanta, CO. He is survived by Arleen Smith, her two daughters, Linda and Edna, and three grandchildren. Also, many nieces and nephews and many friends and business companions that he had known for many years. In 1945 Clell opened and operated Miller Van Lines moving people all over the world, until his death. He was a member of the Temple Lodge #6 AF& Am, The Lions Club, Past President of the Solo Club, and a member of the Teamsters Union. He worked for many years in the Motion Picture Industry where he doubled for Bur Ives, and at that time he was the President of the Screen Actors Guild. He was also a county commissioner. Services will be held at the Daniels Family Funeral Services, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, on Sunday, July 1, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held in Kim, CO. The family ask that contributions be sent to the Masonic Charities, 1688 University NE in Albuquerque, NM.
