MACMILLAN -- Ruby F. MacMillan, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1955, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, June 16, 2007. She was born and raised in Mississippi on January 27, 1916, and she was always a true "Southern Belle." Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, S.P. several years earlier. She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Gardner of Albuquerque; son, Bill MacMillan and wife, Carolyn, all of Albuquerque; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren that she loved dearly; one sister, Virginia Ann Spain of Mississippi; and one brother, John Spain and wife, Dorothy of Tennessee. Mrs. MacMillan worked for Jill's Bakery for many years. After her retirement, Ruby took great pleasure and enjoyment in working with her many craft projects and spending time with her family and friends. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2007, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
