HONEYCUTT -- Deerwood "Joe" Honeycutt, 82, died November 14, 2006. He was born in 1924 in Albuquerque, NM. Joe joined the Navy at 17 and served in World War II. He served 20 years in the Navy and 20 years civil service at North Island Naval Air Base. He was an avid golfer and Harley Davidson rider. Survivors include his brother, James; sister, Bonnie; three sons, David, Gary, and Robert; and his daughters-in-law, Gil, Wanda, and Debbie; and his grandchildren, Bree, Bryce, Brian, and Ross. Services have been held and a memorial site is available at www. equiglobe.com/janieandjoe. He joins his wife, Martha Jane Romig (d. 1995), also of Albuquerque, at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in Point Loma, CA.
