COLLIER -- Betty June Collier passed away May 24, 2007 in Houston, TX. Betty was born in Oklahoma City, OK. She moved to Albuquerque with her husband William D. Collier (Bill) in 1946. They moved to Houston in 2006. An avid Bridge player her entire life, Betty was a Life Master Bridge player.She taught and directed Bridge for many years. Betty was known for her many artistic talents and her beautiful laugh. She was a long time member of the Cosmopolitan Women's Club, Tanoan Country Club, and a volunteer at the UNM Hospital. Betty is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Bill Collier; their daughter Candace Collier and her husband, Gary C. Freeman, M.D., Houston, TX; brothers Ray and Paul, and numerous nieces and nephews in Oklahoma.
