RIVERA-PLATTE -- Lori Rivera-Platte, 51, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, and now living in Corrales, NM, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2007. Lori was born July 14, 1955 the daughter of Macario and Victoria Rivera in Albuquerque, NM. She had been a Financial Advisor and Special Education Teacher before her death. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Norma Lee Platte; and two aunts, Charlotte Atencio and Trudy Miranda. Lori is survived by her husband of 17 years, William Platte of Corrales; her parents, Macario "Phil" and Victoria Rivera; children, Billy Platte, Charley Platte, Delora Chavez, Lluvia Aby, and Tina Reichers; ten grandchildren, Cody Reichers, Charlyn Reichers, Matthew Reichers, Christian Reichers, Lorili Aby, Hannah Aby, Solame Aby, Breana Valverde, Christopher Valverde, and Joseph Valverde; two sisters, Elaine Trujillo and husband Danny, and Julie Bakke; and two brothers, Ernie Rivera and Phil Rivera. The Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m., on Sunday, May 13, 2007 at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 9502 Fourth Street NW, Albuquerque, NM. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, May 14, 2007 at 9:00 a.m., at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish with Father Juan Mendez as the celebrant. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Danny Trujillo, Sr., Cisco Trujillo, Danny Trujillo, Jr., Phil Rivera, Jr., Jake Rivera, and Frank Johnston.
