GLAUNER -- Gar Wood Glauner, 56, a resident of Chandler, AZ the past 25 years, passed away on April 20, 2007. Gar was born in May of 1950 in Galion, OH. He is survived by his wife, Vicki Voss and her son, Jason Voss and his wife, Theresa; a daughter, Carly George and husband, Matt; a son, Lt. JG USCG Gerrod Glauner and wife, Robin and grandson, Bradley Glauner; his parents, Tommy and Ruth Glauner; a sister, Deanna and Bert Vendel of Placitas, NM; a brother, Russell and Lisa Glauner, of Cheyenne, WY; and a niece, Kristen and nephew, Zane Glauner of Fort Collins, CO. Gar was baptized and confirmed at St. Luke Lutheran Church and graduated from Sandia High School, attended UNM and served in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam conflict. He was a long time employee of an Electronics firm in Tempe, AZ before becoming ill. A Memorial Service was held in Chandler on April 23, 2007. Friends of Gar and of his family are invited to Celebrate Gar's life on May 6, 2007 at 10524 San Marino NE between 2 and 4 p.m.
