BUMGARDNER -- Beverly June Bumgardner, 68, a resident of Albuquerque for most of her life, went home on April 28, 2007. She was born May 17, 1938 in Atlanta, GA. Preceded in death is her daughter, Leslie, and her son, Clayton; her mother, Mildred; and her grandmother, Maggie. She is survived by Frieda Valdez, her loving daughter; Johnathan Valdez, her grandson; Gorgeann Hanjaras, her cousin; Pearl, Toby, Sam and Lucy, her loving canine family. She will be missed by all those who loved her. She was a Special Education teacher at Rio Grande High School for many years and loved gardening, reading, her many close friends, and traveling. She overcame many obstacles during her lifetime and wants family and friends to celebrate the beauty of her life and the beauty of all of our lives. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 3, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at 10827 Rocky Mountain Rd., Albuquerque, NM, 87114. (Western Albuquerque, at the Stone Bridge neighborhood).
