LUCERO -- Elizabeth P. Lucero, 97, passed away on April 9, 2007 at Valle Norte Caring Center. Mrs. Lucero was born on November 12, 1909 in Albuquerque, NM to Placido and Beatrice Padilla. She is survived by her son, Rudy Lucero and his wife, Gevevieve; her daughters, Betty Hoffland and husband, Al, Katherine Palombo and husband, Tom, Gloria Lucero, and Shirley Lewis and husband, Larry; 16 grandchildren, Rudy A. Lucero, Myra Simons, Michelle Werden, Dennis Lucero, Ric, Gary and Barbara Surber, Larry Hoffland, Lisa Payton, Paul, Joseph, and Gilbert Montoya, Vanessa Waikem, Tony Fagen (deceased), and Robbie and Jimmie Fagen; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at John XXIII Catholic Community on Saturday, April 21, 2007, 4831 Tramway Ridge Drive NE, Albuquerque. Rosary will be recited at 12:30 p.m. and Mass will follow at 1:00 p.m. Private burial will be at a later date.
