DODSON -- Carol L. Dodson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2007. A resident of Albuquerque for more than 50 years, she was a recent resident of El Paso, TX. Mrs. Dodson was born in Paris, TX on Saturday, May 7, 1919 and moved to the plains of West Texas as a young teenager where she met her husband to be, Dee Dodson. They were married for more than 60 years when he preceded her in death in 2001. Together they had many adventures, among them living in Washington, DC and then owning a business, Dee's Dairy Mart, in Albuquerque. Mrs. Dodson was also preceded in death by her parents, Dora and Wiley Scott; and her sister, Betty Jane Tannahill. She is survived by her son, Ben and wife, Marlene of Albuquerque; daughters, Becky Stewart and husband, Ken of Texarkana, TX and Carol Ledon and husband, Octavio of El Paso, TX; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She loved to fish, paint and read. Her greatest joy was her family and she will be missed by all. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio NE.
