TANTILLO -- Victor L. Tantillo was born May 5, 1922. He passed away Thursday, March 22, 2007 after a long illness. Victor moved to Albuquerque with his wife and five children from Des Moines, IA. He worked for Safeway Stores, retiring in 1984. Victor is survived by his wife, Betty; and children, Margaret Rucinsky of Seattle, WA, Joseph Tantillo, Mary Currier, Victoria Henley, and Raymond Tantillo, all of Albuquerque; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Rose Mele, Catherine Jackovich, and Irene Tantillo all of Des Moines, IA; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at in the Chapel of Manzano del Sol Good Samaritan Village, 5201 Roma NE, near San Mateo and Lomas NE. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with a reception following.
