COSPER -- Dolph Conrad Cosper, 82, of Bosque Farms, NM, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 19, 2007. He was born December 15, 1924 in DeQueen, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe B. Cosper and Viola (Hughes) Cosper of Huntington Beach, CA; and his loving wife, Maria (Koenen) Cosper; brothers, Fred C. Cosper of Portland, OR, Edwin H. Cosper of Broken Bow, OK, and Joe Bob Cosper of Huntington Beach, CA. He is survived by his daughter, Shevawn Price, husband, Michael, and grandchildren, Brandon and Ashley of Henderson, NV; step-son, Michael Arledge and children, Rick and Angel of San Antonio, TX; sisters, Mrs. Velma Godwin of Hot Springs, AR, Mrs. Jo F. Ausley of Norman, OK; brother, Charles E. Cosper of Sacramento, CA; also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He served in the U.S. Navy, was a life member of the VFW, DAV, American Legion, and was a member of the teamsters union for 35 years retiring from Yellow Freight. He loved fishing, gardening, playing the piano and organ. Cremation has taken place. Should friends desire to make memorial contributions, they may be made to a shelter for abused women and children.
