TUCKER -- Leana Hazlewood Tucker, 87, passed away on March 7, 2007, ten days after Carlin Tucker, her husband of 64 years. Mrs. Tucker was born in Estancia, New Mexico on May 27, 1919. While raising a large family, she worked as a volunteer and as an employee of the Brothers of the Good Shepherds. She is preceded in death by a son, Nick Tucker and two daughters, Julie Tucker and Tina Richey. She was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. She is survived by her children Joan Garcia and husband, Michael, Toby Tucker and wife, Maribeth, Terri Tucker, Steve Tucker and wife, Kerri, Karlin Urioste and husband, Tony, and Bill Tucker and wife, Monica; and ten grandchildren. Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 4th Street & Alameda, Albuquerque. A Memorial Mass will be at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 19, 2007, also at the Nativity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
