PFAFF -- Ashlee Germaine Pfaff, a Santa Fe, NM, native born November 30, 1978, died Saturday, February 24, 2007, following an incident at the Denver Zoo where she worked. A 2002 NMSU biology graduate, Ashlee worked with tigers, birds and otters at Ocean Journey in Denver for three years prior to joining the staff of the Denver Zoo in the fall of 2005 where she worked with large cats, polar bears, and sea lions. Ashlee is survived by her grandparents, Charlotte Pfaff and Gene and Helen Barrington; parents, Norman and Janice Pfaff; and brothers, Bryon Pfaff and wife, Monica and Aaron Pfaff and wife, Juanita. Memorial Services are set for 10 a.m., Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church, 1801 Montano Rd. NW, in Albuquerque. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the Animal Humane Association in your home city.
