SACHS -- MARTIN F. In Loving Memory February 7, 1907 - March 1, 1999 Eight years ago today, you peacefully left us with the Lord. My belief that you are with me in spirit is comforting. You are in my thoughts and prayers every single day. Trust and respect is what we had for one another. A strong bond, formed early on, has never been broken and is cherished and embraced to this very day/. You are my dad and so much more! Looking up to you was easy and I thank you for all you taught me. You taught me to be strong and that strength was needed to handle what was yet to come. Mom became ill, with no hope of recovery. We did the best we could in getting her the proper care. You lived with Bob and I for your remaining years - not because of my promise to you years before, but because I would never have had it any other way. I gave you my all, making you my number one priority, and in doing so, received much more in return. You were happy and thankful, especially when I'd go spend time with mom twice daily. "Thank you and God bless you" is what I heard everytime I returned. The Lord took mom first, and eight months later He came for you. You were ready, and I'll never forget when you clasped my hands in yours and whispered your final words to me. I felt proud as I do now of being recognized as Martin Sachs' daughter. There is no greater reward than having no regrets and for that I am truly blessed. I remain - Your loving daughter Angeline Sachs Velasquez
