She is survived by her son, Aaron Smoot; daughter, Stephanie Garcia; sister, Juanita Gonzales; grandchildren, Sarah Smoot, David Garcia, Frances Garcia, and Desire Smoot; great-grandchildren, Lorenzo Smoot and Santiago Smoot.
