JARAMILLO -- Augustine "Gus" Jaramillo, beloved husband and father, died Saturday after his long battle with cancer at the age of 64. Gus was a longtime resident of the Albuquerque area and is survived by his wife, Carmen Jaramillo; their four children, Evelyn Apodaca and husband, Louie Apodaca, David Jaramillo and fiancee, Tracy Black, Greg Jaramillo and wife, Maggie Jaramillo, Robert Jaramillo and wife, Karla Jaramillo. Gus was surrounded by family and close friends during his life, which included 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. Gus will be greatly missed for his smile and his devotion to his wife and family. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at Holy Child Parish, 19 Camino del Santo Nino, Tijeras, NM (505) 281-2297.
