GUTIERREZ -- Martin Gabriel Gutierrez, God knew you were failing, that the hills were hard to climb. So He gently closed your eye lids and whispered, "Peace be Thine". Martin Gutierrez, age 28, a resident of Bernalillo, NM, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 10, 2007. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernie Gutierrez; grandfather, Felipe Gonzales; uncle, Michael Gonzales; and aunt, Betty Gonzales. Martin is survived by his beautiful daughter, Shannah Gutierrez; his loving mother, Diana Gonzales; grandmother, Sista Gonzales; sister, Andrea Ortiz; brothers, Robert Gutierrez, Adrian Gutierrez, and Orlando Gonzales. Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Debra Gonzales, Amado Gonzales, Richard Gonzales, Angel Jaramillo and husband, Mathew, Josephine Montoya, Ronnie Gutierrez and wife, Beatrice, and Raymond Gutierrez; special cousins, Juan, Michelle Gonzales, Alicia and Johnnie Rey Jaramillo; and numerous other family members and friends. Martin will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Sorrows. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adrian Gutierrez, Orlando Gonzales, Robert Gutierrez, Johnnie Rey Jaramillo, Dustin Combs, and Carlos Baca. Honorary bearers will be Isaac Gonzales, Jason Gutierrez, Juan Gonzales, Tony Ruelas, Gilbert Madrid, and Mark Benavidez.
