CHAVEZ -- Valentino "Tino" Chavez went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 10, 2007. He was born September 26, 1955. A loving father, he is survived by his son, Samuel "Sam" of Clearwater, FL; his mother, Ramona Chavez; his sister, Gloria and husband, Jerry Robinson who live in Albuquerque and Placitas respectfully; his sister, Linda Whittington who lives in Redondo Beach, CA; Tino's niece, Patricia Whittington whom also lives in Redondo Beach, and nephew, John Martinez whom lives in Orange County, CA. All of his surviving family wishes you to know that Tino has an extended family of numerous close and caring friends in Albuquerque. He was well known and respected for his skill and generosity when repairing the cars of his friends. Tino was a Christian who consistently sought truth in all aspects of his life. He found the meaning of truth in the words and teachings of our Lord and rests joyously and peacefully forevermore. Services for Tino will be held at The Family Worship Center, 7311 Glenrio, NW (505-831-5365) at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2007. A reception will follow.
