BATTAGLIA -- Genevieve Battaglia , 83, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2006. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Battaglia of Albuquerque, Noreen Battaglia of Nova Scotia, Canada, and Denise "Nicki" Battaglia of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Rebecca **Genevieve and ***Micheal Ray; one great-granddaughter, Marissa; and brother, Robert Cresco. ***She will also be missed by Phoenix, Shambhala and Elsa. Mrs. Battaglia was an active member of St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church where she volunteered and served faithfully. She was also a classical pianist and a counselor in natural health. Mrs. Battaglia loved her daughters and family very much and will be greatly missed. Rosary will be recited on Sunday, December 17, 2006, 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 18, 2006, 10:00 a.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 300 Mildred Ave. NW. Cremation will follow the Mass. Friends may visit French Mortuary on Sunday, December 17, 2006, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
