SANCHEZ -- EFREN Mr. Efren Sanchez, 82, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 9, 2006. Mr. Sanchez is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-one years, Mrs. Mary R. Sanchez; six children, Lillian Lucero and husband, Flor, Sammy Sanchez and wife Pearl, Efren Sanchez Jr. and wife, Shirley, Lori Chavez and husband, James, Pete Valles and wife, Debbie, Linda Benavides and husband, Mike; two sisters, Catalina Trujillo and Jenny Lord; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; two special friends, Sara Martinez and Toribio Baldonado; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Sanchez was preceded in death by his parents, Leopoldo and Margarita Sanchez; two daughters, Nancy Sanchez and Mary Torres; and his brother, Casimiro Sanchez. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 12, 2006, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at His Place Ministry, 5505 Central NW, Pastor Pablo Lucero will preside. Final visitation will be Wednesday at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m., Pastor Pablo Lucero will preside. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Torres, Jose Lucero, Sammy Sanchez Jr., Daniel Sanchez, Leo Sanchez and James Chavez III. Honorary pallbearers will be Rigo Ramirez and Michael Chavez.
