MALDONADO -- Mauricio Maldonado was born November 27, 1932 in Chilili, NM. A longtime resident of Peralta, he passed away Sunday, November 26, 2006. Mauricio was preceded in death by his wife, Angie Maldonado and two children, Geraldine Maldonado Black and Morris Maldonado Jr. He is survived by his children, Lupe Turrietta and husband, Tom G. Jr., Jennie Apodaca and husband, Robert, Valerie Muniz and husband, Frank, Pamela Maldonado, Lawrence Maldonado, and David Maldonado; brothers, Louie Maldonado, Johnny Maldonado, Paul Maldonado, Porfilio Maldonado, and Flowrance Maldonado; six granddaughters; five grandsons; five great-granddaughters; four great-grandsons; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. A Rosary and Visitation will be held at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac Rd. SW, on Tuesday, November 28, 2006. The visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, 3574 Highway 47, on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Peralta Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Turrietta, Ernie Garcia III, Ernie Garcia Sr., Jacob Chavez, Reyes Garcia, Isaac Black and Frank Muniz. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
