HARTON -- Florence M. Harton, 82, of Chester, CT, formerly of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on November 22, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Rabakowicz) Harton. Florence was born on December 3, 1923 in Bayside, NY, grew up in Manhassett, NY and later moved to Albuquerque, NM. She is survived by her nieces and their families, Linda and Steven Seferlis of Chester and Cathy Jane and Sumner Hunter of Flower Mound, TX; also a sister-in-law, Jane Coffrini of Green Acres, FL. Besides her parents, Florence was predeceased by her sister, Helen; and brothers, George, Frank, Julius, and Richard; and a nephew, Douglas. Florence worked for many years with the American Red Cross in Albuquerque and was active in civic organizations there. Her family, friends, and the many people she met through her work were the joy of her life. She will be missed. Service and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
