SALAZAR -- Rose E. Salazar, 95, passed away peacefully Monday, October 30, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Salazar; her sister, Cedelia Baca; and her brother in-law, Miguel Baca. Rose was born in Conejos, CO in 1911. Rose spent most of her life in Los Angeles, CA, moving there in 1939. Rose moved to Albuquerque in 1980 to help her sister with her ailing husband. Rose loved dancing, and would actively seek every opportunity to get out and pursue her passion. Rose loved life and made friends easily. Her outgoing personality enabled her to be loved by many. Rose is survived by her niece, Martha Duran; Noel M. Baca; and Robert O. Baca; along with many great-nieces and nephews. At Rose's request, her body will be donated to the UNM School of Medicine. We will miss her dearly. A Memorial Service will be held at the Second Presbyterian Church on Lomas and Edith. Call the church office at 242-8005 for further information.
