LAMPSON -- Virginia Lampson, 91, of Whitney, TX, formerly of Albuquerque, NM, died September 23, 2006 in a Waco hospital. She was born January 31, 1915 in Millville, AR, to Arthur R. and Ada Mae (Womack) Tillar. On July 14, 1935, she married Robert Eugene Lampson in Medina, OH. For the past two years, they had resided in Whitney, TX. Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Richard A. Lampson May 1, 2004; and one sister Marlene Leister. Survivors include husband Bob Lampson, of Whitney; two sons, Dan Lampson and wife Jackie of Whitney, Thomas E. Lampson and wife Marilynne of Aztec, NM; two sisters, Mary A. Mitscher of Tempe, AZ and Marilyn Tyler of Aptos, CA; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
