BADGER -- Tannoth Autumn Badger, 31, passed away on August 31, 2006, surrounded by family and friends, after an extremely courageous three plus year battle with brain cancer. Tannoth is survived by her children, Michaila and Avi Franklin of Corrales; her mother, Yvonne, and her husband Jeff Loubet of Albuquerque; her father, Al Badger and his wife, Susan of Carlsbad, CA; her sister, Kendra McConnell and her children, Morgan and Kyle Giampaolo of LaJolla, CA; her brother, Traffin Lawrence of Albuquerque; her grandmother, Wilma Phelps of Albuquerque; her aunt, Teena Morris of Albuquerque and sons Seth Morris of Las Vegas, NM, and Ezra Turney of Arivaca, AZ; and her ex-husband, Russell Franklin and his wife, Karree and their children, Colton and Kassidy of Corrales. Tannoth graduated in 1992 from El Dorado High School. From 1992-1996, she was a professional in martial arts,boxing and kickboxing. In 1992 in Phoenix, AZ, in her pro-boxing debut, she scored a second-round technical knock-out against her seasoned opponent. She continued with martial arts until her love for graphic arts became paramount in her life. Between 1999 and 2002, Tannoth received an Associate of Arts in Advertising and a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from The Art Center Design College in Albuquerque. In 2002, she was employed by Clear Channel Outdoor in Albuquerque as Creative Director. Additionally, she was an Adjunct Professor at The Art Center Design College and started her own business, Foundry Creative Services. Tannoth was a very talented artist and her unique designs, portraits and murals can be seen all over Albuquerque and surrounding areas. Tannoth was well known for her sense of humor and her dry wit. She made many, many good friends in her travels through life, and made quite an impact on people whose lives she touched. She will certainly be missed. Tannoth's family wishes to thank Vista Care Hospicen for their loving care and support. Tannoth's life was celebrated by family and friends on September 1, 2006. Cremation has taken place and, at Tannoth's request, her ashes were disbursed by her family in her special place during a private service held in Durango, CO. Those wishing to honor Tannoth can do so by remembering her children, Michaila and Avi, with a contribution to their educational fund. CORDOVA -- Dennis C., 75, a 50 year resident of Albuquerque, entered the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, September 22, 2006 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Becky Cordova; his children, Katherine Baca and husband Randy, Alex Cordova and wife Tania, Linda Slezak, Martin Cordova and Maria Barber and husband James; grandchildren, Christopher and Jared, Carli and Brandi, and Peter and Steven; his siblings, Mary Sanchez and husband Desi, Nellie Montoya and husband Orie, Rey Cordova and wife Mary Ann, Vera DeeWeese and husband Jerry and Jeanette Nelson; father-in-law, Ysidro McKinley; sister-in-law, Dora Sanchez and husband Celso; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Dennis retired from Sandia National Labs after 33 years; worked for eight years with Parks & Recreation at the City of Albuquerque; was a high school basketball and football official for 38 years; and was inducted into the NMAA Officials Hall of Fame in 1999. DAVIS -- William (Bill) Quenton Davis, 75, born September 29, 1930, in Orlando, FL, passed away September 15, 2006 after a sudden massive heart attack. He was preceded in death by his dear wife of 51 years, Barbara Colleen Davis; mother, Ruby Mae Bethea; his father, Robert Nicholas Davis; brothers, Carson Napolian Davis, Philp Nick Davis, and Alton Eugene Davis. He is survived by his brother, Vernon Bethea Davis; sisters, Jo Ann Starling and Martha Jo Simkins; son, Wayne Quenton Davis and wife, Kathy of Salt Lake City, UT; son, Craig Allen Davis and wife, Becky of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Cameron Wayne Davis of Memphis, TN; Donica Mae Long of Coldwater, MS; Sean Michael Davis and Tyler Allen Davis of Albuquerque; four great-grandchildren, Elise Nicole Davis, Logan Anthony Davis, Michael Hunter Long, and Samantha Michelle Long; many nieces and nephews. Bill grew up in Orlando, FL and graduated from Orlando High School where he played many sports and began his lifelong love of football. He moved to Las Vegas, NM and attended Highlands University where he also played football. He was married to Colleen June 10, 1951 and moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1958. He was a member of Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He served for many years on the board of the Albuquerque West Side Neighborhood Association. His career in life insurance spanned more than 40 years. His career in Life Insurance began with John Hancock in Albuquerque in 1958 and in 1964 moved to their headquarters in Boston, MA. After leaving Boston his career continued to progress with several different insurance companies as a General Agent managing offices in Dallas, TX, Houston, TX. Oklahoma City, OK, and returned to Albuquerque in 1970 where he worked in life insurance till his retirement. Bill's life long love of sports included living long enough to see his beloved Florida Gators gain national prominence in football and win a NCAA Basketball Championship. But his greatest pride was his grandchildren. After returning to Albuquerque Bill and his beloved wife Colleen (Ponca) loved supporting their grandchildren in their endeavors in Southern California and Tennessee. After Colleen's passing in 2003 Bill continued to live in Albuquerque until his death. We want to thank Dr. Shatoff and the staff of Presbyterian Hospital who worked so valiantly to save Bill's life after his sudden heart attack. JARAMILLO -- Alfonso Jaramillo, 70, husband, father, and Belen businessman, passed away on September 22, 2006. He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church for many years, and after moving to Albuquerque became a member of Our Lady of The Annunciation Church. Alfonso joined the Navy after graduating from Belen High School. He was stationed at the Alameda Naval Air Station in California and in Okinawa, Japan aboard the USS Lexington. He then returned to Belen to work in the family business, Henry's Market, and then eventually established Al's Mini Marts in 1973. Alfonso enjoyed traveling around the world with Theresa. The most memorable trip was when Alfonso and Theresa attended Easter Vigil Mass, celebrated by Pope John Paul II on April 18, 1992. After returning from each trip, he always said there was no place like New Mexico. Alfonso was preceded in death by his daughter, Luana K. Jaramillo, in 1997; his parents, Henry T. Jaramillo and Casianita Aragon Jaramillo; his sisters, Lucy Sanchez and Lena Frazee; and his brother, Eddie Jaramillo; brother-in-law, Arthur Ortiz; nephew, Eddie Jaramillo. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Theresa Jaramillo; seven loving children, Melinda Baca of Albuquerque; Philip Jaramillo and his wife Charlotte of Albuquerque; Paul Jaramillo and his wife Annabel of Portland, Oregon; Elaine Watson and her husband Darren of Seattle, WA; Tina Jojola and her husband David of Chandler, AZ; A. Mark Jaramillo and his wife Kathleen of Los Lunas; and Jean Whitten and her husband Spencer of Albuquerque. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Ortiz and Rose Aragon and her husband John; and his brothers, Henry Jaramillo and his wife, Elsie, Gillie Jaramillo and his wife Mary Ann, and Jerry Jaramillo and his wife Nury. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Dominic and Andrew Jaramillo, Jared, Nicholas, and Justin Baca, and Tyler Watson, and his three son-in-laws, Darren Watson, Spencer Whitten, and David Jojola. LAMPSON -- Virginia Lampson, 91, of Whitney, TX, formerly of Albuquerque, NM, died September 23, 2006 in a Waco hospital. She was born January 31, 1915 in Millville, AR, to Arthur R. and Ada Mae (Womack) Tillar. On July 14, 1935, she married Robert Eugene Lampson in Medina, OH. For the past two years, they had resided in Whitney, TX. Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Richard A. Lampson May 1, 2004; and one sister Marlene Leister. Survivors include husband Bob Lampson, of Whitney; two sons, Dan Lampson and wife Jackie of Whitney, Thomas E. Lampson and wife Marilynne of Aztec, NM; two sisters, Mary A. Mitscher of Tempe, AZ and Marilyn Tyler of Aptos, CA; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

MAGUIRE -- Regina "Ge" Maguire, born May 7, 1927 in Greenleaf, KS, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short illness on Tuesday night September 19, 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Flora Martin and her son, Greg Maguire. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, William E. Maguire of the family home; four sons, Brian and wife, Karen of Hewitt, TX, Kevin and wife, Robin of Albuquerque, Kent and wife, Lisa of Omaha, NE, Kerry of Albuquerque; and Greg's wife, Jill Coppedge of Albuquerque; one brother, Noel Martin of Albuquerque; two sisters, Virginia and husband, Sarge Manion of Circle, MT and Lori Ann and Don May of Anaconda, MT; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, special friends and neighbors. Moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1970 where he opened two Bed and Bath Fashion Shops. World War II veteran. Preceded in death by parents, Johanna deVriend and Marinus Potter. ROCHON -- Latrecha Rochon, 28, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away on September 21, 2006 at Lovelace Sandia Westside Hospital. Latrecha was born on December 28, 1977 in Chicago, IL. She served the Albuquerque community by being a Licensed Practical Nurse. At the time of her death she was, attending CNM to further her nursing career. She is survived by her husband of over nine years, Jason Rochon; their children, Michael Bernard and Isaiah James Rochon of Rio Rancho; her loving mother and father Shirley and Michael Waites, and her biological father, Rick Bolden; a sister, Makayla Bolden, In-Laws, Bernard and Brillian M. Rochon; grandparents, Lovie and Taylor Waites, Cristella and Clifford Bolden, and Mary Bell Applebery. Latrecha was predeceased by her daughter, Rachel Rochon in 1997, and a son, Jason Jr. in 1999; and her grandfather, John Henry Applebery. Latrecha participated in the Navajo Elks Lodge Youth Department and was a Highland High School Homecoming Princess. She will be remembered for being a devoted and loving wife, a brilliant and loving mother, a daughter that was so loved; a good all around person with a discerning spirit. Most importantly, she was a true Christian. Latrecha was very uplifting. A great faith sustained her beautiful life. SEVIERI -- Leo Sevieri, 85, a resident of Albuquerque, passed into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, September 24, 2006 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Anna. He is survived by his sons, Bobby Sevieri, wife Jane; Billy Sevieri, wife Kaylene; David Sevieri, wife Vicki; Gary Sevieri, wife Vickie; Don Sevieri, wife Ann; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Leo will be remembered as a devoted, loving father, grandfather, and friend. His loving guidance and wisdom, his determined work ethics, his honest integrity and good morals set a good example for his sons, grandchildren, and all who knew him. He was a serious man, yet took time to play and take his family fishing. Leo retired from Southern Union Gas Co. in 1984 after 30+ years of dedicated service. SHAW -- Raymer F. Shaw, Jr., 85, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2006, in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on August 16, 1921, to Raymer F. Sr. and Lillian Faye (Yates) Shaw in Brownsville, TX. However, most of his youth was spent growing up in the mining town of Dawson, NM. When America entered WWII, Raymer enlisted in the Army and served in England as a bomb sight repairman. While serving in England, he met his wife, June Parkin from Sheffield, England. Following the war, he brought her to America on the Queen Mary. He then enrolled at Highlands University in Las Vegas, NM, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in History and later a Master's Degree in Education. While raising a young family, he then completed his Master's Degree in Administration at the University of New Mexico. For forty years, he served NM's small and rural communities as a teacher, coach and principle. He retired to Rio Rancho, NM to continue his life of traditional values and continual learning. He will be remembered for his kindness, quiet fortitude, and a gentle interest in others. Throughout his life, he had a keen interest in history, nature, gardening, reading, and collecting Southwest Artifacts. Raymer is survived by his three sons, Raymer W. Shaw, Paul F. Shaw, and Curt S. Shaw; three grandchildren, Raymer Lee Shaw, Chesney Lynn Sampson and Raymer Wendell Shaw; two brothers, Quincy Shaw and John Shaw; and one sister, Iris Coleman. Raymer was preceded in death by his wife, June Parkin, and his mother and father. He will be sadly missed, and May He Rest in Peace. STRADER -- John C. Strader, 91, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2006. He was born in Lela, OK and moved to Albuquerque in 1949. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. John is survived by his devoted wife of 69 years, Frances Strader; sons, DeWayne and wife, Kathleen and Daryl and wife, Theresa; grandchildren, Dana (Dan) Pfingsten, Jolene (Davison) Gault, Brian, Eric (Kelli), Todd, Derek (Jessica), John (Berenice), Brandon (Jessica) Buckner, Krissy Buckner; great-grandchildren Garrett Greer, Andrew and Christopher Guidi, Ivan, Cordney, Ethan and Donovan Strader, Bradley Fussell, Ty, Daxton, Devon, and Cassandra Strader. John retired from Big 3 Welding & Supply Co. in 1981 as General Manager. He was an avid RVer with the Manzanita Sam and Siglo de Oro RV Clubs. TERRY -- Geraldine Terry, born October 4, 1913 in De Leon, TX, passed away September 23, 2006. She taught in a one room school house before becoming a kindergarten teacher in Albuquerque. Geraldine was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. WHORTON -- Tom C. Whorton, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on September 21, 2006. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Katari of 20 years, children Shanna and husband, Coty Davis, and Chris.
