CHATWIN -- Wallace Dayton Chatwin, 80, a resident of Bosque Farms, NM since 1997, died Saturday, September 16, 2006. He is survived by his spouse of 57 years, Nora; children, Susan and husband, Stephen Peterson, Lynn and wife, Joni Chatwin, Carolyn and husband, Rich Murset, Lorraine and husband, Dave Reschke, Kevin and wife, Shannon Chatwin, Sherri and husband, Jeff Thayne; 27 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Gloria; and brother, Gordon. Before moving to Bosque Farms, Wally was a long-time resident of Taos, NM where he was a building contractor. Wally was a respected member of his community and well known for his humor and outgoing personality. He was an active member of his church. Services will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at 4:30 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on James Street, Los Lunas, NM and on Thursday, September 21, 2006, at 11:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Santiago Road in Taos, NM. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services at each location. Interment will take place at the Miera Family Cemetery in Taos. Friends may also visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel on Tuesday, September 19, 2006, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
