DIXON -- Tyrone Michael Dixon, age 40, our beloved son, was called home quietly, Thursday, September 7, 2006. He was born in Los Angeles, CA and raised in Gallup, NM, where he graduated from Gallup High School in 1985. Tyrone was a longtime resident of Albuquerque and he also attended T.V.I in Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin F. Dixon and by his grandfather, Ralph Kedelty. Tyrone is survived by his mother, Martha J. Dixon; brother, Craig Dixon; sisters, Theresa George and Traci Childers; three nieces; three nephews; other family members and friends who loved and will greatly miss him. A visitation will be held in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW in Albuquerque, on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the First Indian Church of the Nazarene, 818 Apache NW, 2 Blocks West of 6th St. between I-40 and Menaul, on Thursday, September 14, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Julian Guinn will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rex George, William A.V. Burrola, Lee Childers, Steven Gutierrez, Robert E. Lee, and Michael Lucero.
