STARR -- Sandra Elaine Starr March 28, 1946 -September 12, 2005. The year since your passing has been long and filled with sorrow for your loved ones. We have wept, not understanding why one who was loved so dearly was so quickly taken away. We celebrated your exemplary life with a memorial service that brought together family and friends, from near and far, honoring you with laughter and with tears. The beaches you loved and longed for in North Carolina, Florida and California now keep a part of you. Your ashes were lovingly scattered across their shimmering sands. The Sandia mountains, which enchanted you will shifting shadows of color and light, also hold a part of your. There are no words to describe how we miss you. Your grandchildren, those precious little lives that you were so vital to, miss you beyond description. We are strengthened by the writing, the photographs, and the painting you left behind, as well as in the stories that live on in the hearts of your beloved family and friends. Not a minute passes that we don't think of you and remember the wonderful things you've brought into our lives. You were a much loved daughter and sister, a wonderful and loving wife and a remarkable mother, and a true comrade to those who called you friend. It's difficult to move forward in life after the loss of such treasure. Our heats are comforted in knowing that your spirit lives on forever.
