CHAVEZ -- Rebecca Chavez, 66, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, died on August 12, 2006 surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Adan Romero Chavez; a son, Adam Chavez Jr. and his wife, Suzanne; two daughters, Tina Padilla and Andrea Chavez; five grandchildren, Lucinda and her husband, Quentin, Patricia, Leticia, Amanda, and James; and eight great-grandchildren, Diana, Joseph, Joshua, Jaden, Jasmine, Jolene, Alicia, and Westin; and one brother, Charlie Corner and his wife, Margaret. Rebecca's spirit will be with family and friends forever. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday August 15, 2006 at Azusa Christian Church, 201 Valencia Dr. NE, Albuquerque, NM, at 2:00 p.m.
