JARAMILLO -- Eliseo Jaramillo, age 74, beloved and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, was called home by the Lord, Wednesday, August 9, 2006. He was a lifelong resident of Canyon, NM; a member of the Catholic Church. Eliseo enjoyed the great out doors and everything it has to offer, fishing, hunting, gardening, cutting wood; he especially loved his family and spending time with them. He retired from the U.S. Forestry after 29 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Zacarias and Frances Jaramillo and his brother, Robert Jaramillo. Eliseo is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Oralia Jaramillo of the family home; his wonderful daughters, Elizabeth Jaramillo and husband, Gene Montoya of Canyon, Barbara Jaramillo-Silva and husband, Daniel of Rio Rancho, and Arlene Jaramillo of Canyon; three precious grandchildren, Meranda, Joseph, and Desirre. Also surviving are brothers, Daniel Jaramillo of Canyon, Frank Jaramillo of San Ysidro, Zac Jaramillo of Ponderosa, and Henry Jaramillo of Canyon; sisters, Mary Ann Montoya and JoAnn Palacios both of Albuquerque; and many other family members and friends. Eliseo will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Canyon, NM at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Juan Palacios, Donald Jaramillo, Mark Jaramillo, Alfred Jaramillo, Jesse Jaramillo, and Tommy Jaramillo. Honorary bearers will be Steve Jaramillo, Robert Jaramillo, and Andrew Jaramillo. Funeral Services are entrusted to: Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th Street NW 898-3160
