MARTINEZ -- Richard N. Martinez, 62, a resident of Albuquerque for 38 years, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2006 unexpectedly in his home. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Dora Martinez; sons, Richard D. Martinez of Albuquerque and V. Paul Martinez and fiancee Michelle Murrey of Austin, TX; two brothers, Ben and Ray Martinez; five sisters, Naomi Greene, Mary Rush, Anavi Roman, Grace Mier and Carol Martinez; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends especially Ambrosio Ortega. Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Anastasia Martinez; brother, Walter Martinez; and sister, Kathleen Robinson. He was born in Tierra Amarilla, NM. Mr. Martinez worked for many years at SED Laboratories and Tri-Core Laboratories. He loved working with children and playing his guitar. Mr. Martinez will be deeply missed by all his friends and family. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Monday, July 31, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., at Second Presbyterian Church, 812 Edith Blvd. NE, with Rev. Robert Woodruff and Rev.
