CROWSON -- Josephine A. Crowson, age 83, a resident of Peralta, NM, peacefully joined Our Lord and Savior on Monday, July 17, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a member of the Valley Church of Christ in Los Lunas, NM. Jo was a longtime member of the NM Fiddlers Association and was inducted into the NM Fiddlers Hall of Fame for her accomplishments as a guitarist. Her family was her heart and soul and her loving nature not only drew her family together but also many neighbors and friends who all loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin in 2004; and by several loving family members. She is survived by her children, Janice LaVerne Lomax of Peralta, William Monty Crowson and his wife, Olga of Edinburg, TX, Helen Wellborn and her husband, Jack of Mississippi, Jeanne Iddings of Roseville, CA, Alvin William Jones and his wife, Susan, Patricia Clover and her husband, Mike, all of Vancouver, WA; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Davis of Salinas, CA, and Lillian Rea of Raton, NM; and one brother, Johnny Cervo of Grand Junction, CO. Jo is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 20, 2006 beginning with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Terrace Grove Cemetery.
