BERQUIST -- Shirley Mary Berquist, age 70, left Earth on July 17, 2006 to be with Walt, Betty, her parents, and many friends in heaven. We knew that morning, that God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love and laughter is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Shirley is survived by her beloved children, Deborah Vehar, Don Berquist (Robyn), DeVere Berquist (Cathie); and by her grandchildren who loved her dearly, Jennifer Sharpley (Jeremy), Greg and Jessica Vehar. Friends are invited to join the family in the Rosary on Tuesday, July 18, 2006, 4:00 p.m. at French Mortuary Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE; Funeral Services on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary Chapel.
