DONOVAN -- Jeanie Donovan, 59, a resident of Rio Rancho, lost her battle with cancer on Tuesday, July 11, 2006. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, of 27 years, Hal; daughter, Cheryl Wildes and husband, David of Rio Rancho, NM; son, Bill of Chandler, AZ; son, David and wife, Kathleen of Chandler, AZ; sisters, Joan Fowler and husband, Glenn of Gladstone, MO, and Shirley Walker and husband, Joe of Shawnee, KS; sister-in-law, Barbara Gillespie and husband, Andy of Rio Rancho, NM; grandchildren, Kyle Connelley, Jennifer Duggan, Dianna - Lauren - Zachary - Jacob - Olivia and Alexa Donovan; David and wife, Carole, Dianna and Drew Wildes; eight nieces; four nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews; two great-granddaughters; and two great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-mother. Jeanie loved her family dearly and will be sorely missed. Jeanie was the office manager for the Rio Rancho Chamber of Commerce and deeply involved in her community. She enjoyed playing golf and was an avid UNM Lobos fan. Her dancing eyes, cheery smile, and wonderful laugh brightened the world around her and will be remembered by all that knew her. A Memorial Service to celebrate Jeanie's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 17, 2006 at the Performing Arts Center on the Rio Rancho High School campus - 301 Loma Colorado Drive NE.
