NIEHAUS -- MARGUERITE DOWLING Mrs. Marguerite Dowling Niehaus, age 78, died July 10, 2006 at River Landing at Sandy Ridge, High Point, NC, after a long illness. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in High Point, NC by Father Anthony J. Gilborges, O.S.F.S., on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery in Lexington, KY. There will be no visitation. Marguerite was born in Louisville, KY to Herbert P. and Marie R. Dowling, former residents of Burgin, KY. She graduated from Our Lady of Cincinnati College (now Xavier University) in Cincinnati, OH. She married Richard C. Niehaus in 1954, who preceded her in death. They lived in Albuquerque, NM for twenty years and in Redding, CA for three years prior to moving to High Point in 1977. Surviving are several first cousins in Kentucky, Ohio, and Maryland, all members of the Niehaus-Weber families of Cincinnati. Marguerite had many friends everywhere she lived, especially Betty Griffin, Sarah Martin, and Mr. Gautam J. Kapadia of High Point.
