MENDOZA -- Michael Gene Mendoza, age 23, and Desiree Renee Mendoza, age 22, Brother and Sister, lifetime residents of Albuquerque, NM, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2006. Michael was employed with Annex General Contracting. Desiree was employed by Madrid Bails Bonding. They will be greatly missed because of their kind, loving, joyful spirits. Desiree is survived by her loving children: daughter, Nikkie Love and son, Nicholas Antonio and their father, Nicholas Wiggins. Their mother, Gina Mendoza and fiance, Jamie Rivera; sister, Alicia; and brother, Patrick survive them both. Grandparents, Willie and Johnnie Lee Martinez; aunts, Christine, Kaye, and Leah; uncles, Dean, Jacob, and Estevan. Also grandparents, Ralph and Berna Mendoza; uncles, Ralph Jr., Arnold and wife, Glory, and Carl; aunts, Martha and Marlene. Father, Michael Mendoza precedes them in death; and uncles, Leroy, Ritchie, and Johnny. Pallbearers for Michael: Marvin Sutherland, Jason Kelly, Gabe Anaya, Nick Meaney, Jason Meaney, and Jonathan Sandoval. For Desiree: Jermaine Thorton, Angelo Lopez, Christopher Chavez, Eric Chavez, Perry Kelly. A viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo NE. A Rosary will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Therese Church, 300 Mildred Ave. NW. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Therese Church, 300 Mildred NW, followed by the Burial at Pajarito Cemetery.
