FOX -- Frances Louise Fox died on July 6, 2006 after 83 awe-inspiring years of life. She faced death on her terms with dignity and courage. Her two sisters, her three children, and her three grandchildren survive her. She made friends easily and, as a result, will be missed by many. She was a self-reliant woman, a loving wife, best friend to her husband, and a mother to her children in every sense of the word. Frances was intelligent, even-tempered, honest, straightforward, generous, and prized by her family. She was an avid and eclectic reader with an insatiable interest in the world around her. Fran especially enjoyed in her lifetime, computer games, Bridge, Scrabble, Crossword Puzzles, playing classical guitar, singing, trading good jokes, and spending time with friends. She was a creative and independent thinker, an organizer, an artist, and a Master Gardener. All who knew her learned from her, and all who loved her are the better for it. Frances and her late husband, Robert Elliot Fox, served in the Second World War and will be buried together in the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Friday, July 14, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the New Mexico Zoological Society, 400 Marquette Avenue NW, Albuquerque, NM, 87102 Sunrise Funeral Options 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87109 (505) 821-0010
