DURAN -- Gabriel John Amador "Gabe" Duran of Phoenix, AZ passed away suddenly July 3, 2006. He was born in Socorro, NM May 24, 1951. He grew up in Albuquerque, NM and became a U.S. Navy Corpsman from 1970 to 1974. He moved to Phoenix in 1990 where he resided in Ahwatukee with his wife Camille M. Duran. "Gabe" worked in medical sales for numerous years and recently pursued a career in a hobby he loved at Creative Outdoor Kitchens. He is survived by his wife, Camille; his son, Gabriel (Robyn) Duran of Saugus, CA; grandson, Cameron Duran; his parents, Napoleon and Erlinda Duran of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Pauline (Rick) Roche of Albuquerque, NM; brothers, Joe (Joanne) Duran and Laurence Duran of Albuquerque, NM; nephews, Elliott Duran, James Parr of Albuquerque, NM, Christopher Sandoval of Nebraska, Jaxon and Travis Gutierrez of Phoenix; and his niece, Lori Sandoval of Minnesota. His sisters, Gloria Sandoval and Josephine Lundburg precede him in death. A celebration of his life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday July 15, 2006 at Camille's parents home, 11910 Dusty Rose Road NE, Albuquerque, NM. Please call 505-410-4217 for directions.
