ALLEN -- Sandra Lee Allen, 54, a resident of Bosque Farms, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2006, after a two year battle with cancer. She is survived by her parents, Lt. Col. Ernest R. Allen, U.S.A.F. (Ret.) and Iris S. Allen; brothers, Ronald and wife, Lynn and Scott and wife, Karen; sister, Cynthia Barnes and husband, Charles; and many nieces and nephews. She began her schooling in Great Britain and graduated high school at Clark Air Base in the Philippines with Luther education in accounting. Sandra was employed by the Albuquerque Journal, Rust Tractor Co., Galles Competitive Edge for twenty years, and lastly Chicks Harley Davidson Agency for eight years as an accounting manager. She was well known in the dog world, owning her own kennel, Desert Dawn Chow Chows, breeding and training in obedience and show. Sandra produced many champions through showing her Chow Chows at local and regional dog shows throughout the country and many of her puppies will continue to gain champion status in the show ring by dog fanciers to whom she has bequeathed her chows. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Monday, July, 10, 2006, at 11:00 a.m., at Church of Christ, 1680 Highway 47, Bosque Farms.
