PEREA -- Isabel V. Perea, age 91, was born, July 28, 1914 in Tucson, AZ. She passed away Monday, July 3, 2006 after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Isabel was a resident of San Ysidro, NM since 1969. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Perea and she leaves behind one daughter, Olivia C de Baca and husband, Ralph of San Ysidro; three grandchildren, Cindy Benavidez and husband, Brian of San Ysidro, Monica C de Baca and boyfriend, Shane Dehart of San Ysidro, Ralphie C de Baca of San Ysidro and girlfriend, Sofia Martinez of Albuquerque; seven great-grandchildren, Ernesto and Emilio C de Baca, Samantha Gonzales, Brian and Dale Benavidez, Sabryna Ramsey and Shayna Dehart; one brother, Manuel Verdugo and wife, Cecilia of Tucson, AZ; one sister, Mary Bernal of Tucson, AZ; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at San Ysidro Catholic Church in San Ysidro, NM. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 7, 2006. Burial will follow at San Ysidro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ralphie C de Baca, Brian Benavidez, Benjie C de Baca, Shane Dehart, Marshal Daniel White and Orlando Lucero.
