GUTIERREZ -- WILLIE J. Mr. Willie J. Gutierrez, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on June 22, 2006 peacefully at home with his loving family by his side. Mr. Gutierrez is the beloved father to Mrs. Margie Casaus and husband, Jerry, He is also survived by three grandchildren, Deborah Yvette and husband, Milton, Jerry II, and Willie III; three great-grandchildren, Darrien, Rayren, and Jonathan; three brothers, Floribal Gutierrez, Chano Gutierrez and wife, Reyes, Felix Gutierrez and wife, Meme; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Gutierrez and a son, Willie Gutierrez II. Mr. Gutierrez was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated 9:00 a.m. by Father John. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Al Gutierrez, David Gutierrez, Dominic Ortiz, Preciliano Ortiz, Jiovanni Ortiz, and Victor Perea.
