SANCHEZ -- Josie A. Sanchez, a resident of Southwest Albuquerque since 1937, passed away peacefully in her home, among her loved ones, on Monday, June 19, 2006. Josie touched the lives of many people giving of her self with love, kindness, and friendship. She will leave a void in many people's hearts and will be deeply missed by all. Josie is survived by her husband of 59 years, Edwin Sanchez; her brother, Eppie Martinez; four beloved sons, Edwin Sanchez Jr. and wife, Dolores, Daniel Sanchez, Patricio Sanchez and wife, Pamela, Steven Sanchez and wife, Michelle; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; many extended family members and many friends. Services will be held at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 4000 St. Joseph's Pl. NW (Coors and St. Joseph's NW across from St. Pius X High School), on Friday, June 23, 2006. The visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. concluded with the Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE.
